I wrote a monologue and it was performed today and I wasn’t proud of it ever and I didn’t want to write it, but this older woman came up to me after the reading and said that it affected her so much and she started to cry a little bit and holy shit that makes me feel really good about my ability even though it really only means that I had a really great actor who I will miss working with a lot.
